i just installed the tension Ring with the M3x10 and it seems That the screws are toi Long or The threads aren‘t Deep enough.
My apologies for this issue, I will review this with my machinist. do you have a M3 bottom tap - can you tell me if the threads are not fully cut or if the hole depth is not deep enough. If the screws need to be shortened a little this is not an issue.
Don't worry. Not a bad issue. M3x8 screws work fine.

I had the same issue Chris. I used a small internal star washer to take up the difference. Problem gone.
