I couldn't figure out how come the J1 platform does not scrub against the upper surface of j1 casing. How do bearings carry axial load, can anybody explain?
The J1 housing contains (2) 32009 taper roller bearings that are opposed, the J1 platform has set screws that set the tension (red arrows) against the upper bearing housing and maintains a .5mm gap between the J1 housing and the J1 platform.
