It was brought to my attention that the electrical enclosure cost has gone up significantly on Amazon. I was curious if anyone knows of any other lower cost options for electrical enclosures?
I have started sourcing parts for a new AR4 build and I have not decided on the enclosrue. I would be interested in the CAD files if they are available online. Great job on your build by the way!
Yes, for me the cost of the recommended one (and lead times) was too high so I sourced another one:https://www.electrical2go.co.uk/wiska-wbd-4-insulated-abs-plastic-enclosure-400x300x220-grey-ip65.htmlWorks well but had to place the components slightly differently. Also it's a metal mounting plate, so a hint of threading to be done but works well!
Yes, I actually went with a different option I found on amazon. This enclosure comes with the internal panel so the cost would be the same as getting both the original enclosure and panel. I can also vouch for its quality.
