I would like to know if there is any provisions now or in any future update to include encoder feedback? I was thinking of using servos instead of steppers.

I do plan on using encoder feedback in my next version robot. Currently this version is made to be lowest cost possible. The next version I will also try to keep the price down and may still use steppers as they are very low cost but I have some ideas to integrate closed loop encoders.

In the mean time I could use Clearpath servos...not exactly positional feedback but it does offer a stopgap solution to lost steps and position hold.
