I've started building the robot (up to J3 installation) and only now realized that I should be using stranded continuous flex cable for the wiring. I've been using standard flex, solid core wire. It has been a little difficult to solder but not impossible. The joints are fairly strong.

I just bought the proper continuous flex stranded cable. Once that comes in should I re-wire what I've done so far, or will it be ok? What are the main concerns with using solid core, standard flex wire instead of the stranded, continuous flex?

Thanks!

I'm not certain how long the solid core wire might last. You might be able to run for quite a while if there isn't too much fatigue, but I would recommend using the stranded flex wire if possible.
