In my setup, the J2 arm rubs against the J2 spindle on forward and backward movements. Is that expected? Will it be a good idea to have some sort of (PTFE?) spacer between the two?

Do you mean the J2 arm is rubbing on the housing? Do you have any pics you can send me so I can see what is going on?
