Hi all, huge fan of this project. I am considering buying the upgraded J2 YGS gearbox to reduce J2 backlash. (23HS22-2804D-YGS50-AR4)
The spec calls for a no load backlash of <=15 arcmin which is about 0.25 degrees. What does this transfer to in reality?- With arm load and some wiggle room between the gear box output shaft and the J2 pivot point is it a noticeable improvement? Would really appreciate it if anyone could post a video of the the backlash by having the arm perpendicular to the base (rest position) and wiggling it to see how much the top of the arm moves.
