Looking at the provided wiring diagram (red circle), where am I supposed to actually place the -5V DC wire coming from the motor drivers in order to disable them once a limit switch is engaged?
Currently, if I jog the robot in one direction and press the corresponding motors limit switch, the robot doesn't stop; it keeps moving until it comes to the end of the jog movement.
The limit switches are used for calibration only not to stop the joint in one direction of travel. The limit switches get wired to arduino pins 14 through 19 for calibration. If you wanted to wire the fence circuit up to stop the robot - for example this might be used for a safety gate or door, you would connect the neg ena wire from each driver to ground of the 5v supply.
