Hi,

I am currently building the Ar3 aluminium version robot, and I am very happy with the quality of the kit.

I am wondering if it would be possible to use a 3D mouse like the 3Dconnexion Spacemouse for jogging the robot?

Thank you.

Currently you would need to use the jog buttons in the software as they send the position serial commands to the control board. Providing analog control will require some changes in the architecture but I will be working on that in the future.

Hi Kristian, I have found the Xbox plugin that Chris has put together to be a very valuable tool! I use it when programming the grip in my CNC mill for making X,Y moves at 1mm to get things dialed in. I have found problems when trying to use the triggers so I stick to using the D-pad on the Xbox controller.
