It has been brought to my attention that some of the 3mm rods are too tight in the J5 housing and the bearings. I went through my supplies and found the last batch of rods measured 3.04mm and the newest batch measured 2.98mm. Please measure your rods and do not force them onto the bearings if you have rods larger than 2.98mm. I would not use these unless you can chuck them up and evenly polish them down to 2.98mm. If you are experiencing this problem please contact me so we can figure out the best way to get your rods corrected.

It’s not setup for ROS yet. I started working on it, got the URDF files complete and the moveit config package done but got bogged down with ROS control as there is no documentation and very poor tutorials. I took a break from that and am currently working on linear moves, arc moves and Xbox controller functionality for the AR2 software. Once I get a few things done that I’ve been wanting to develop I’ll get back to ROS development.

I'm not sure what batch mine was from but mine measured 2.98mm. (I think mine was part of those 13 your shipped out recently that didn't have that other error.) These are the two metal rods that are about 85mm long you are talking about right?
