anyone sort out a quieter fan? I'm thinking about this $15 noctua.

comes with speed limiter in box (Zener diode maybe) that gets you to 4100 rpm vs the stock 7000 rpm.
easier than wiring into the arduino for temp control....
Hi,
I just received the Noctua NF-A4x10 24V PWM. That's definitely a game changer. Without an adaptor, which is the case as used in the robot enclosure, it runs very quietly at 5000 rpm
Best regards
I also swapped out with the same Noctua fan- I tested it with and without the included "low noise adapter" and found that it didn't really make much of a difference given there's some noise from the motor drivers. That being said- it is a game changer, and while not completely silent, I can leave the robot powered on without being bothered at all.
