Hi,

I've just finished building my AR4 Kit, I performed the encoder test all looked good. I then did the limit switch test, and the J4 and J6 limit switches both were randomly switching between on and off.

Upon further investigation, I found that the voltage over the signal and ground sits at just under 1 volt, no matter the state of the switch.

I've checked the wireing at the terminals and continuity between all connections and it all seems fine. The only thing sticking out to me is that they are both 10T85 Limit Switches unlike the rest of the Arm using SV-166-1C25 switches.

Anybody know what could be causing my issues here?

Typically when the signal fluctuates its due to floating voltage and the ground signal not being connected on the NC terminal. The switch needs to send a solid ground signal back to the teensy board at all times other than when the switch is made then it returns 3.3v. if its not pulled to ground it will pickup floating voltage and fluctuate.

Thanks Chris, I ended up re-running the signal cables up to J4 and J6 this seems to have fixed it.
