Teensy 4.1 for AR3 - breakout board required?

I just rewired my freshly built AR3 robot for the Teensy 4.1 as per the upgrade manual but I'm wondering will I need to buy the terminal block breakout board module for the teensy in the AR4 manual or anything else? Thanks.

The breakout board is highly recommended. You might be able to solder the connections but I believe its worth the extra money to have the terminals. You can get the breakout board on Amazon here
