This is an interesting project. But I've googled and not found any more information anywhere beyond this dropbox linked video.

Werner,

Was this done with PLC or just 110v limit switches on the lift, and fixture?

Hi Buddy, I used one of my coolest tricks, capacitive sensor with travel limit switches and diodes, relay and 12 volt gear motor. The limit switches are only for emergency overrun stop and down travel reload .

Was able to see that on the material elevator. Thank you for confirming. how do you activate the fixture solenoids and run program function on the tormach. Kinda trying to figure that flow out as I am putting together an AR3 arm and would like to see if I could interface it to run with an arduino router.
