Hi all. I'm having a strange issue with the two main braided sleeve wire groups interfering with J1 motion. They sometimes get pinched between the J1 motor and the J1/J2 turret and arm assembly. The J4+5+6 sleeve is the main culprit. The interference happens in both directions but is problematic in the J1 + direction as it prevents the joint from calibrating.

I have checked the length of both sleeve lengths and they are correct. I thought shortening the J4+5+6 sleeve would help but It can't be any shorter as it is currently fully extended when the arm is outstretched in the J2 + direction.

I haven't seen anyone else with this problem so I think I've done something wrong somewhere.

Thanks, Alastair

Hi, this actually happens to me too. :/ lifting the cables higher up on the arm helped, but they still sometimes get pinched
