This will be my post to follow my build of a 3d printed and a metal A3 setup side by side. I just ordered a metal kit from Chris and have previously 3d printed an A3 kit for this. I ordered 2 stepper kits from omcsteppersonline.com
I used a Sunlu S8 printer with hatchbox PLA. No issues with shrinkage when using the 3d printer files.
What filament did you use and did you have any issues with shrinkage? I'm planning on using PLA but I'm not sure whether to print the resized parts or the regular size parts.
unfortunately the plastic one is already rehomed.
Just an update, waiting on gripper and encoder wires. Already started on both new arms. Up to joint 3 so far.
