Grinding with custom gripper and pick and place
On my first demo, there are 3 parts
Grinding
The robot moves to the desired region, activates the Dremel, then move in a trajectory to grind, then get out of the trajectory and turn off the Dremel
Pick and place
We picked one component, and we did a peg-in-hole insertion 6 times, the first trial it couldn’t place the part on the hole, but the other 5 times it was successfully
Pick and place heavier objects
We placed a steel fabricated gripper that was on amazon, and it worked fine for a bigger and heavier objects
