Hi all,

Is there an any way to identify more than one object at single capture and to pick one by one using the vison tab,

Hi there, Is it possible to mount the Camera direct on the Robot or have i to make it static over the aeria over the Robot?

I designed a cover as an addon to the AR4 Robot (Annin Robotics) to protect the J1 limit switch. especially against main cables when J1 is fully moved. 3D print, and install it : drill 3mm holes, remove the M3x14 Philips pan head screws on the J1 limit switch and reinstall the cover on top of the switch using two M3x20 Philips pan head screws. Et voila.

Comment for V2: the previous version (published in the late forum) had a design flaw as the M8x10 cap screw installed into the J1 platform was jammed by the cover when J1 was moved in the negative direction at around 158°.

Nevertheless with the new version, depending on the calibration process and if the J1 limit switch arm is bent or not, it might be needed to set a value slightly less than 170° in Kinematics/J1 Neg Limit in AR4 software. 168° should work OK.

AR4 robot J1 Limit switch cover - New version

Hello,

I bought all the parts I needed for an AR3 build during the lockdown, but most of the parts were shipped after de lockdown was over. I never found the time to really build the AR3, but now I want to pick up the project again.

I see the new AR4 is now released and in the manual:

I found this text:
If you have not yet built your robot and you would like to build the AR4 robot using the AR3 motors and the CUI encoders follow the AR4 manual for majority of the build process but then add the CUI encoders to the motors as shown in the AR3 manual, and wire the encoders to the continuous flex Cat6 cable as shown in this photo.

Do I understand correctly that I can just build my robot using the AR4 manual and use the AR3 motors and encoders?

What new hardware do I need? I have bought everything I needed to build the AR3 back in the days.

I understand I will need at least the teensy 4.1 board but what else has changed, is there a list?

Also are the aluminium components still the same or do I need to upgrade them too?

Just found the AR4 build kit and I am keen to get started building. I would just like to figure out what is needed to complete the build. My understanding is:
- AR4 MK3 Robot Combo Kit
- Complete AR4 MK3 stepper-motor, driver & power supply package

Hi All, I have a half built (but abandoned) AR2 from Sept 2018 - using the machined kit - and would like to upgrade it and complete it to the latest and greatest AR4 version.

Has any one been through this and can offer advise/details of the new parts I would need to purchase or is it a case of going step by step though all the different version manuals identifying all the changes step by step?

I am particularly concerned about any changes to the aluminium machined components, though I have a lathe and mill so if they are modifiable I could do that myself (and obviously re-print any 3d printed parts).

I think this is going to be expensive since I believe it will need all new motors/gearboxes and microcontrollers?
