Hello, I have a question regarding the encoder’s electrical interface.

If the encoder is powered with 5 V and its output high level is also 5 V, how should it be connected to a 3.3 V microcontroller such as a Teensy 4.1 without causing damage?
Do you recommend powering the encoder at 3.3 V instead, or is there any internal protection or differential receiver requirement for safe connection?

Hello, the encoders initial spec sheet listed a 5v input requirement. The listed output is .2v to 5v - the actual output has been closer to 3 - 3.5v and has not been an issue. I am working with Stepperonline to see if it makes sense to power the encoders at 3.3v given the spec now shows 3.3v min power requirements. For the time being 5v supply is not an issue.
