is it possible to build ar4 with just 3d prints ?

idea is to scale it down ,like 1/3 or even 1/4 ,for these 1/20 loader trucks

to have ar4 like hand for loading ,and to have ultra sonic sensors on hand to look for objects (just simple triger like open/sensor see it pick something - go pick ,closed /dont see it ,sit on 0 place)

is it possible to build it just with 3d prints ?

i mean construction only , not rest parts electronics screws bearings wires etc

Yes you can absolutely build the robot fully 3D printed. It will not have the same rigidity or payload but it will work fine. In the 3D print downloads there is a folder for the structural components so you can print all the parts that would otherwise be made from aluminum. If you would like to modify any of the parts you can find the full CAD models for sale on the robot kits page. Please let me know if you have other questions that I can help with.

Chris Annin how much rigid hand is ? full size alu parts ,,

i mean if u put it on one place and put in hand let say peace of brass and program it to grind 8 side nut to make exact 5mm around on grinding plate ,how precise it will be ? ..- like, does it have vibrations ?

to shift part when it touch grinding plate . i wanted to do similar auto process using delta 3d printer but not possible it shift over 3-4 mm soon it touch grinding plate,so wonder how this will work .. full or same for scale down one ..

and thanks for project :))))
